Turnaround

Standard turnaround is 5 business days from the time we have an approved Quote or Order Approval, payment terms and artwork approval. Some printing styles and add-on services will add to the standard turnaround time. If you have a deadline (see deadlines below) for your order, please tell us when placing your order. Taking longer than 6 business hours on approvals can add to your turnaround. Revisions to proofs can take up to 24 hours per request. Rush charges may apply to orders needing quicker turnaround. Coastal Threads will not be responsible for missing deadlines because of weather conditions, power supply interruptions, vendor shortages and errors, shipping errors or acts of God. If we expect or foresee any problems coming, we’ll be sure to let you know and work with you to rectify it.

Payment

All orders must have a 50% payment in order to be considered a submitted order and begin your turnaround. We accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, or PayPal. The order balance is due on order completion, before deliver or shipment of the order. See invoiced quantity below to understand how the final invoice balance is determined.

Under/Over Run

Coastal Threads will not be responsible for under runs within the under/over run allowance. The under/over run allowance is based on the total quantity of goods ordered.

Under/Over Run Allowance > Standard: 3%

Example: Your order is for 72 shirts. There is a strange, uncommon glitch in printing which results in some defects. If we give you at least 69 good shirts then your order falls within the 3% range. We will only charge you for the 69 shirts.

All orders within the under/over run allowance of the desired quantity will be considered acceptable for delivery. For this reason, we highly recommend you order extra garments for each size. Coastal Threads will not be responsible for profit loss on under runs. If requested, in the case of an under run greater than the under/over run allowance, we will reprint the remaining quantity.

Invoiced Quantity

Because we bill on actual quantity, we only require a 50% payment (based on your order approval amount) to begin your order. The balance, based on the quantity to ship, is then due to ship your order. The price/piece will not change from the order approval to the invoice.

Minimums

For the most accurate print minimums, please see each product in our Products & Pricing section. In general, minimums are:
Screen Printed items including T-Shirts: 24 pieces
Embroidered items including Polos & Caps: 12 pieces
Team Uniforms: 8 pieces

Rush Orders

Rush orders which fall inside of our standard turnaround (per the order specs and services) are subject to rush fees. The schedule below is the amount which would need to be added to the order total based on how many days are being cut out of the standard turnaround.

1 Day: 10%
2 Days: 20%
3 Days: 50%
4 Days: 100%

We can not guarantee exact delivered quantities on rush orders. Rush orders are subject to the same as standard orders. Coastal Threads will not be responsible for profit loss from under runs on rush orders. Rush time frames are based on our production schedule and do not include shipping time. Please consider the shipping time when submitting a rush order. Coastal Threads will not be responsible for shipping issues once it leaves our facility. Rush orders must be paid for in full when placing the order.

Social Sharing

We are grateful for your business. With that said, we want to show them off once they're finished. It's a great way for us to show our skills and send some of our fans your way. We like to do so by taking pictures and posting on them on places Instagram, Facebook, etc. If you are not comfortable with your shirt being photographed and shared by us, please let us know when you place your order. If you do not notify us, we will assume we have your full permission to post a photo of your shirt(s).

Out of Stock Items

Coastal Threads will not be responsible for items which are out of stock from our suppliers. We do our best to efficiently source garments in the time requested but can not “hold” goods. Should items become out of stock, we will do our best to find a replacement and get it approved by you before using it.

Estimates

Estimates are good for 30 days unless stated otherwise but are subject to seeing final artwork to confirm an estimate. The total quantity invoiced is equal to the total quantity shipped.

Artwork Creation & Ownership

All artwork created by Coastal Threads is the sole property of Coastal Threads. If you have us create artwork for you, you are paying for the labor and thought to produce the artwork, not the ownership and rights of the artwork. Rights to the artwork can be purchased in addition to the creation fees. 

Any artwork you submit to us which we are not creating, only printing, is owned by you or it's rightful owner, not Coastal Threads. We will not reproduce your artwork, trademarked or not, without your consent.

Art Preparation

Artwork outside of basic setup is subject to be billed at our current rate. You will be notified ahead of time if artwork is applicable for extra charges. We will not be responsible for errors, misspelling or otherwise in approved artwork.

Art Approval

All art must be approved either by our online client access system or via an emailed mockup. Changes to the artwork after approving the mockup could increase turnaround times. We will not be responsible for errors, misspelling or otherwise in approved artwork.

Image Sizes

All shirt sizes in an order will have the same image size unless otherwise requested. Different image sizes being printed on different shirt sizes will be treated as a new order and priced as a new order. Image size printed within 1.5 inches of any seam are subject to distortion, print inconsistencies and/or other small inconsistencies. These are all considered acceptable goods and we will not assume responsibility for print imperfections due to printing too close to seams.

Care Instructions

In order to ensure image longevity and image vibrant-ness, we recommend “machine wash cold, tumble dry low” (hang dry even better) for all prints. Heat pressed team uniforms should be washed inside out and line dried. All goods should be washed before wearing. Do not iron any garments that are screen printed or heat pressed. The iron will liquify the ink thus ruining the garment and possibly your iron.

Image Placement

We will do everything we can to ensure images are placed and located consistently on all garments in a run. However, small variations should be expected. The straightness/levelness of any imprint can have variances of up to 2 degrees due to the nature of garments being loaded into printing equipment.

Manufacturer Defects

Coastal Threads is not responsible for manufacturer defects such as color inconsistencies, mislabeled sizes, loose stitching, holes, label inconsistencies and garment defects. We do our best to inspect the garments as they are printed but we can not guarantee each garment. We highly recommend ordering 5% extra of each size.

Customer Supplied Garments

We request an itemized list of each style, color, size and quantity being delivered. We will check-in the delivered quantity with the stated quantity but will not be responsible for shortages. Garments must be clean, neatly organized by size and in brand-new condition.

Ink Colors & Pantone Matching

Because of the nature of screen printing inks, we can not guarantee Pantone colors. Pantone Colors/Color Matches are only offered as approximate matches subject to our opinion. Garment color will also effect final ink color. We can not guarantee ink colors based on visual mockups alone. Monitors can vary significantly from one computer to the next so please check a Pantone book for color accurancy if you ordered a custom color.

Garment Subjectivity

Coastal Threads will not be responsible for you not liking the garments printed on or the printed artwork. We do our very best to make sure you have selected a garment which is what you expect and matches your needs but we also expect you to do your own research. If there is any question of not liking the selected garment, we recommend ordering a sample first. Samples will push back the turnaround time.

Guarantee

Coastal Threads fully stands behind our work. If for any reason we made a mistake printing your order and it is not what was agreed upon and falls outside of these terms & conditions, we will gladly reprint your order within 10 working days. We do not offer refunds.

Pricing

Coastal Threads reserves the right to change pricing at any time. Any previously quoted orders are still valid for their originally stated time.

Shipping & Local Delivery Service

Orders within 15 miles of our address (&/or within East Baton Rouge Parish) are delivered at no extra charge. Deliveries are scheduled at least a few hours in advance. You must have a representative available at the delivery address over the age of 18 to sign for the package(s).

Orders may also be picked up at our office, 9222 Amber Drive, Suite 1 by appointment only between the hours of 9am to 4:30 Monday through Friday. Please allow 24 hours to setup an appointment.

Shipments outside of our local delivery area are shipped via UPS. We will send you a tracking number shortly after they ship. Coastal Threads will not be responsible for shipping transit errors for any reason such as errors, weather, strikes or otherwise. Shipping time is not included in our turnaround times. Shipping expenses are your responsibility and will be added to your invoice unless otherwise agreed upon prior to your order. Shipping costs are not normally included in quotes. Coastal Threads assumes no responsibility for goods once they have left our facility.

Packaging

All orders will be bulk packaged, generally folded by the dozen unless stated otherwise. 

Credit Terms

Sorry, been there...done that. No credit terms at this time.

Contract Printing Under Runs

Coastal Threads will not be responsible for under runs up to 5% of the desired quantity. We highly recommend providing 5% extra for each size/color. We will not be responsible for profit loss on misprinted goods.

Checking Your Order

Please check your order and notify us of any problems within 24 hours of delivery. We will not be responsible for error orders after 24 hours.

Cancellation

Canceled orders prior to printing are subject to a 15% restocking fee (based on order value) plus any additional fees incurred. Fees include cost of artwork setup, film preparation, screen setup and pantone ink matching. Once shirts have been printed, cancelations will not be accepted.

Returned Checks

There is a $30 charge for returned checks. The subsequent payment must be made with cash or a cashiers check.

Holidays

Coastal Threads observes the following holidays which do not count as production days toward turnaround time.

January 1, 2018 - New Year’s Day
May 28, 2018 - Memorial Day
July 4, 2018 - Independence Day
September 3, 2018 - Labor Day
November 22, 2018 - Thanksgiving Day
November 23, 2018 - The day after Thanksgiving
December 24, 2018 - Day before Christmas
December 25, 2018 - Christmas Day
